Membership Information

• Regular Membership, this is available to any civil service employee in any agency in the State of California. ($10.00) Monthly due which is deducted via State Controllers) click here for Membership Application Form
• Associate membership, this is available to any person, not a civil servant, interested in the corporation purposes. ($120.00 annual due every January) click here for Membership Application Form

Membership Benefits
CCWA can represent it’s members with the following:

• California State Personnel Board
• California Department of Corrections
• California Department of Youth Authority
• Other Employing Agency

“Bona Fide” Employee Organization

CCWA, as a professional and bona fide Employee organization, can represent its membership in all matters not specifically reserved for the single representative ( Bargaining) Unit under the rules of the Public Employees Relations Board.

• Scholarships/grants (awarded at Chapter level)
  Community Donations (awarded at Chapter level)
• Cash for College (awarded at Chapter level)
  Community Service (speaking at events, coaching, school career-day, supportive of other organizations)
• Fundraising is done at the chapter levels and with "The Chicano Correctional Workers Foundation"
  (Dances, Banquets, picnics, etc,) Other activities.
