1. CALL TO ORDER /ROLL CALL

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: G. Arteaga made a motion to approve April minutes.
E. Solis seconded the motion. A voice was taken and the motion passed with unanimous consent.
3. FINANCE REPORT: Treasurer E. Solis gave the finance report. P. Zinser made a motion to approve the finance report, along with tonight's meeting expense. G. Arteaga seconded the motion. A voice was taken and the motion passed with unanimous consent.
4. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES: The two $500.00 dollar scholarship, plus $200.00 dollars donated on the night of the Cinco de Mayo dance were handed out to the two scholarship winners. Donations of the $200.00 dollars were made by R. Buenviaje and A. Arabo. Special thanks to the decoration committee for a beautiful job well done, you know who you are.

5. OLD BUSINESS: Thank you Arteaga Family, A. Maldonado and T. Cota for providing security at the Chicano Park car show. The food stands at the car show made lots of money, CCWA. will look into food stand next year.
Reimbursement of gang class attended is still pending.
G. Arteaga announced that he will look into a gang class that will be nearby to attend.

6. NEW BUSINESS: R Perez attended the California Peace Officers Association project 2000 in San Francisco.
The pictures of the CCWA Cinco de Mayo Dance are now on the Website.
The Board of Directors Meeting discussed purchasing a lap top for each Chapter President, which would be paid for by the 3 monthly payments of the quarterly funds.
CCWA donated to L. Garcia a Dental Assistant from Donovan State Prison, $150.00 dollars for his softball traveling team. A donation of $150.00 was also donated to R. Garcia Maintenance Mechanic from Donovan for his Imperial Beach Girls Softball Team. B. Maldonado made a motion to approve donations seconded by A. Petersen. A voice was taken and motion passed with unanimous consent.
June 28, is a tentative date for our Annual Recruitment Softball Games. Permit pending.
L. Garcia will look into donation of Astro-Jump. Let's play ball everyone and have some fun!
A. Castillo will look into flyers on restaurants to donate a certain percentage to CCWA fundraiser.

E. Solis is looking into T-Shirts,Polo Shirts and Sweatshirts at George Bailey for our recruitment.

7. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Our deepest condolesecnce to D. Haro on the passing of his mother.

Thank you T. Garcia, L. Solis, and M. Lucero, R. Fernandez and Y&R. Maldonado and everyone else for the hard work done on our Cinco de Mayo Dance which was a great success.
S. Garcia (C.D.W.) Chief Deputy Warden is taking action and holding Supervisors accountable for paperwork. Parking Lot will be paved.
On May 22, 2008 table for negotiation on contract will take effect.
On August 2008 the 905 Freeway will be under construction it will be a 3 year project.
The list for ranking Lieutenant's is out.
R. Valdez is the Bilingual Coordinator.
New location for monthly meetings is still in the works.
8. ADJOURNMENT: P. Zinser made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:16 p.m.
