2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

· G. Arteaga made the motion to approve February minutes J. J. Abundez second the motion, a vote was taken and the November Minutes where approved, with the following correction, date; From November to January.

3. FINANCE REPORT:

· Treasurer E. Solis gave the finance report. P. Zinser made the motion to approve the finance report, G. Arteaga second the motion, a vote was taken and the finance report was approved.

4. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES:

· Scholarship committee chair person J. J. Abundez announced that three applications where received and are under review for approval.
· Cinco de Mayo Scholarship Dance will be held at the Mount Carmel Church (same Place as 2008). The deposit has been made.
· Decorations committee chair person M. Lucero.
· Bar committee chair person R. Perez
· Food committee chair person T. Arteaga & Tony Garcia.

5. OLD BUSINESS:

· Announcement was made that CCWA San Diego Chapter must have insurance for all events.
· Board of Directors meeting in Ontario May 17, 2009 in Sacramento, CA.

6. NEW BUSINESS:

· Southern Region Training Conference, Laughlin, Nevada, November 7 & 8, 2009. Registration fee $100.00/Person.
· 5 De Mayo Dance tickets go on sale early April, $20.00 ea.
· Doors open at 5:00 P.M., Dinner 6:00-7:30 P.M., Dancing 8:00 P.M. to 12:00
· Donations for door prizes are greatly appreciated.

7. ANNOUCEMENTS:

· Any member who volunteers for any CCWA fundraiser or event must make sure that they are on their RDO, Holiday, Swap or Vacation. You cannot volunteer if you are out on any other type of approved leave.

· The Enforcers vs. LAPD Saturday, April 4, 2009 Cathedral Catholic High School, Del Mar.
· Next CCWA San Diego Chapter meeting Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Brew House at Eastlake, located in the Eastlake Design District, @ 17:30 hours.

8. ADJOURMENT:

At 19:02 hrs, T. Soto made a motion to adjourn the meeting, J. J. Abundez second the motion, a vote was taken and the motion was passed.
