Lisa Oliveira, MemberMeeting was called to order @ 1630 hours by President Sylvia Gonzalez.
Roll was taken and a quorum was established.
Minutes from February 29, 2008 were read and approved. J. Alvarez motioned to approve minutes.
M. Gonzalez second the motion. Everyone agreed.
Treasurers report: Balance - $1,707.81

Old Business:

• Donated $50.00 to CSP-Corcoran 20th Annual Crab Feed.
• Donated $50.00 to the American Cancer Society “Debbie Chinchock – Member – for Lemoore”
• Donated $50.00 to the American Cancer Society “Amanda Ramirez – Member – for Hanford”
• Cinco De Mayo event at CSP-Corcoran. We can use the 3A Visiting for our event.

New Business

• Elections – Start in May. We will need to get by-laws, Ballots and an Election Committee
• Passed out flyer regarding Breast Cancer Walk – Perky Peaks “Officers from Pleasant Valley trying to raise money for Breast Cancer.”

CCWA – Corcoran I Minutes
Meeting on March 27, 2008• Discussed and passed out form for Catastrophic Time Bank for Officer Aaron Guerra “CCWA Member”

• Cookie Navarro, OA “CCWA Member” grandson passed away. We give our deepest condolences to her. The funeral will be held tomorrow. J. Hernandez motioned we send them flowers from CCWA. M. Gonzalez second the motion. Everyone was in favor.
• Received 115 new applications for CCWA.
• The money we raise will go towards scholarships. We need to nominate a scholarship committee.
• Cinco De Mayo Event – Spoke to Officer Fresquillo regarding young dancer. Will be notified if they can come and dance for us hopefully by next meeting. The kids can’t go inside the inner perimeter. Will check with IST for space availability. H. Haro motioned to sell burritos to raise money for scholarships. J. Hernandez second the motion. Sylvia will check with Sabrina, AA/PIO regarding the legalities of selling food on grounds since there were some recent changes from Headquarters. Nancy Stowe made a proposal that we give out burritos and put out a basket for donation towards scholarships. J. Hernandez, second the motion. Everyone was in favor.
