MemberMeeting was called to order @ 1430 hours by President Sylvia Gonzalez.

• Roll was taken and a quorum was established.
• Minutes from March 27, 2008 were read and approved. Clara Holguin motioned to approve minutes.
Debbie Chinchock second the motion. Everyone agreed.
• Distributed the following flyers:

o Fresno Area Hispanic chamber of Commerce 1st Annual Health & Fitness Expo on Saturday, July 19th.
o CSP-Corcoran 20 year celebration/staff appreciation on May 2nd.
o CCWA Chapter Elections are due in May

• This year’s conference will be in Ontario on November 9th and 10th.
• Discussed Cinco De Mayo celebration from 1130-1230. There will be a mariachi group playing for a donation. Sylvia asked anyone that has Hispanic artifacts so they can bring them to display.
• We will be making bean and cheese burritos and giving them away for a donation.Page 2

• Angela Navrozolly made a motion to make burritos at Pat DeOchoa’s house. Kristen Field second the motion. Everyone agreed.
• Paul Pacifico will be the master of ceremonies for this event.
• Regina made a motion to make a $100.00 donation to a Latino Basketball Team for kids.
Debbie Chinchock second the motion. Everyone agreed.
• CCWA bought an angel and a plant for Cookie during her loss.
• Debbie Chinchock thanked CCWA for the $100.00 donation to the Cancer Society.
• Discussed making a flyer and having it for a paycheck stuffer. We will have a recruitment table by the burritos.

Adjournment
I. Decker made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 1530 hours. D. Chinchock second the motion. Everyone was in favor of adjourning the meeting.

Next Meeting – Thursday, May 29, 2008 located in the Snack Bar at 1430 hours.
