Meeting was called to order @ 1415 hours by President, Sylvia Gonzalez.
* Roll was taken and a quorum was established.

* Minutes from May 26, 2009 were read and approved. Regina Guzman made a motion to approve minutes. Marlene Smith seconds the motion. Everyone was in favor.

* Sylvia Gonzalez discussed the NLPOA conference. She mentioned that it was awesome and that her and Angie Macias attended and also recommends that more members try to attend next year it’s going to be in Austin Texas. So start saving your money the classes are nothing like CDCR /CCWA classes they are more intriguing and definitely interesting and makes you want to stay for the whole class.

* Announcements:

o CCWA 2009 Southern Region Training Conference. The conference is going to be held on October 10, 2009 at River Palms Resort & Casino in Laughlin, NV. The registration fee is $50.00 for CCWA Member and $65.00 for Non-Member Hotel rooms will be $44.99 per person.

o Discussed a Lia Sofia party on July 25th at Ms. Holdren’s, CCWA Member, house. If there is anyone interested in going, please contact Sylvia for directions.


Meeting was adjourned by President Sylvia Gonzalez at 1515 hours and second by Regina Guzman Secretary.
