I
would like to take this opportunity to welcome everybody to a
brand new year, 2011 is here.
CCWA
San Diego Chapter is looking for new members. With furloughs
still affecting this Department and the number of people retiring,
our membership total has dropped
from 207 to 171 members here at RJD. My goal as Chapter President is to double
our membership. This is my last year as Chapter President as well as my VP-
Jr. Arteaga, Secratary- G. Fernandez, Treasurer- R. Fernandez and
Sgt @ Arms JJ Abundez.
If you are motivated and would like to become active in the association please
step up. This is our last year and we would like the CCWA Traditions to continue
on here at RJD. The Cinco De Mayo Scholarship Dance and the Facility FFacility
Softball Tournament is a great event that must continue.

The association
is open to
everyone. Custody, OA’s, OT’s, Medical. Any State employee.
Membership dues are $10.00 a month. If you are already a member
and have moved since you have
joined, or transfered in from another institution you need to be updated.

Chapter
meetings have change to the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the
Brewhouse at Eastlake.
